Third Party/Expediter Databases

The information below allows users to look up licensed Expediters and other third parties and to file complaints with the appropriate government agencies.

Expediters	Expediters with current active City of Chicago business licenses are included in the Chicago Data Portal’s list of all current active business licenses. Use the search tool to find a particular licensee, or the filter tool to filter for Expediter licenses.	File a complaint through Chicago’s 311 service.

General Contractors and Other Trade Licensees	Lists of current active General Contractors and other trade licensees are available on the Chicago Department of Building’s Trade Licensing webpage.	File a complaint with the Department of Buildings.

Attorneys	Search for attorneys on the Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission’s Lawyer Search database.	File a complaint with the Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission.

Accountants, Architects and Engineers	Search for licensed public accountants, architects, and professional engineers on the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation’s Search for a License page.	File a complaint with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
