Five-Year Housing Plan Public Comment Form

Five-Year Housing Plan Public Comment Form

The City of Chicago is in the process of developing a Five-Year Housing Plan that will establish priorities and objectives involving citywide housing needs for 2019 through 2023.

The City has identified its housing priorities in five successive five-year plans since 1994 that have collectively coordinated approximately $8 billion in public support of 224,000 housing units. Each plan has been subject to quarterly progress reports made to the City's Council's Committee on Housing and Real Estate. The reports are available for review here.

With the form below, Chicago residents are welcome to submit comments and suggestions as part of the current five-year planning process. Deadline for submissions is Sunday, September 9, 2018. (*) are Mandatory fields.

Public comments may also be presented in person during a public forum from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 13th, in the Cindy Pritzker Auditorium of the Harold Washington Library, 400 S State Street.
