Refreshing Data

Auto-Refresh is an optional feature within the application that's applied to a search. The grid is refreshed based on the number of intervals in seconds.

Intervals

In seconds are 0 to 3600 (60 minutes) with a default of 30 seconds.

The refresh component could be used for monitoring, performance or updates. When a search is setup with auto-refresh; the behavior of the data is refreshed and replotted based on the given intervals in seconds, keeping the map in sync with the latest data while the map is open.

Enable Auto-Refresh

  1. Check the box “AUTO-REFRESH EVERY (SECONDS)”.
  2. Select the number of seconds using the increment/decrement counter or entering the number of seconds in the auto-refresh textbox.

    Refresh every 90 seconds

As the map continues to refresh, three things can occur since the initial load:

  • A message appears if the search times out.
  • A message appears if new data is available displaying a new count.
  • The screen remains static if no new content has been made available.
